Hyde and K.A.Z [VAMPS] in Conversation With Shou [ALICE NINE] J-MELO

Shou: I,m here with HYDE and K.A.Z from Vamps. Welcome to the show.
Shou:  The first concert I ever went to was L’arc-en-Ciel.
Hyde:  Really?
Shou: You’re the reason I become a vocalist. I wish my younger self could see me now.
Hyde: (laugh)
Shou: I’m thrilled to meet you.
Hyde: Thank you.

Shou: J-MELO has been swamped with request for VAMPS. How does it feel  to have so many overseas fans?
Hyde: Even before we formed VAMPS, we had our sight set on going abroad. So we’re glad to hear that people are requesting us. But we still have a long way to go. We want keep finding more opportunities.
K.A.Z:  It’s encouraging to have so much support. And it motivates us to visit more countries. So we’re very happy.
Shou: which overseas concert has been the most exciting?
Hyde: Which one stands out?
Shou: yup.
Hyde: Chile was incredible
Hyde: We’ll have to find a way to top that concert. But that will be hard. After that show I thought I could die happy.
Shou: That’s amazing.
Hyde: I doubt we’ll have that kind of experience in Japan. Right?
K.A.Z:  It was really impressive.
+++
K.A.Z: the fans were so wild, I couldn.t even hear the count-off at the beginning.
Hyde: I had forgotten the power of music. I rediscovered it there. I wish everyone could have that kind of experience.

 Shou: I think this album shows my generation. How a Japanese act can go abroad. And how we should envision doing that from the outset. I think it’s a beautiful album that will become a standard.
Hyde: Thank You.
Hyde: We thought the timing was right. So we chose our very best songs for the world to hear. It’s something we had wanted to do for a while. I believe we ended up with a really cool album.
K.A.Z: Whenever we create a song, we want as many people as possible to hear it. I think that desire is what  keeps us motivated. And we’re realized the world is not a big as it seems.
Hyde: Japan is really small and isolated. Other Asian bands are always playing abroad. They get credit for making the effort to perform in lots of countries. It’s a business for them. Japanese acts don’t realize this. It’s a shame.
Shou: I’m at a loss for words.
Everyone Laugh and smile >//<
“dalam bahagian ini shou kelihatan blank. Dan papa hyde menenangkan shou” how sweet
+++
Shou: Thank you (laugh)
Hyde: We grew up listening to British music. We can remind people what British music was once like. We’ve been listening to music that people have forgotten. We’re band that puts a fresh spin on that kind of music. I think that’s how people see us. I hope so anyway.
Shou: it’s like they’re importing  their own music. I guess that’s partly why VAMPS are so popular around the world. Sorry for my awkwardness. Thanks for the interview.
Both: Your welcome.
Shou:  Finnaly, will you introduce s song?
Hyde: yes, this is called “Devil Side”
Devil side
